I'm pretty sure those buttons already vibrate normally on my build as I am running it right now.

Are we talking about the same ROM? Using AndyYan's GSI ROMs they don't vibrate on my Jelly Star.

I do not use his GSI builds, and neither does his GSI include all of my fixes. He has replaced my init implementation, and as a result my commits are not directly applicable to his tree. If you are interested, you can try to adapt it for his tree. All you need to do is to override default keylayouts with those in my tree.

Sorry, the github page was wrong. I use the TD build https://github.com/TrebleDroid/device_phh_treble .
This even has no "init" dir. So no idea what needs to be modified. If you can, please give me some advice. Thx.
